Rod glass

A stick glass or stick cup is a tall, cylindrical or slightly conical glass vessel, typically with a stand ring and a partially deeply indented base. The origins are in the 15th century. It was partly provided with different types of decoration, such as in the form of nubs (melted glass warts) or paintwork in enamel colors. The rod glasses include z. B. Passport glasses , tapeworm glasses (with melted, helical thread support) and woodpeckers .
