Steve Rachmad
Steve Rachmad (* 19th November 1969 in Amsterdam ; bourgeois Steve Jerome Rachmad ) is one of the most famous Techno - DJs and producers of the Netherlands . He is considered by many to be the father of Dutch Detroit techno . His music is characterized by deep, sustaining melodies and fast, even beats.
Rachmad took an interest in mixing records at the age of 12. At the age of 15 he started DJing in a small Amsterdam club. At the same time he laid the foundation for his career as a producer with the purchase of a TR 808 drum computer and his first publication appeared in the mid-1980s. Even today, most of his studio equipment consists of analog devices. Rashmad also became known by his numerous pseudonyms. His most important projects include sterac , Ignacio , Dreg , Parallel 9 and Adverse Match .
