from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The GFZ Foundation is a non-profit, religiously and politically independent organization in Zurich with the purpose of creating offers for families and promoting the development and freedom of children, young people, families and women.

The GFZ Foundation (formerly non-profit women's association Zurich) was founded in Zurich in 1885 and supports the concerns of women, children and families in order to establish sustainable, family-oriented childcare .

The basic pedagogical attitude is shaped by early childhood development and takes into account not only personality, but also social, emotional and cognitive development from infancy.

As a provider of day-care centers and an intermediary for day-care families , the foundation works closely with the City of Zurich.

Family centers

In addition to the most important service, childcare, the organization also offers needs-based support services for families in three family centers in the city of Zurich. In the family centers, families with children up to four years of age can find opportunities in the areas of encounter, care, advice and education. These offers promote early childhood development , but they also offer families help with specific everyday issues.
