Stiglitz Commission

The Stiglitz Commission refers to two commissions headed by the US economist Joseph E. Stiglitz:

  • the Stiglitz-Sen-Fitoussi Commission (full name Commission on the Measurement of Economic Performance and Social Progress ), set up by the French government (2008/2009)
  • the Commission on Financial Reforms (full name Commission of Experts of the President of the UN General Assembly on Reforms of the International Monetary and Financial System ), established by the UN (2008/2009)
