stretch

The term stretching describes:

  • in manufacturing, lengthening the shape of objects; see lengths
  • the addition of excipients , for example in medication and drugs - this increases the volume and weight of the substance sold, but not its active ingredient content
  • a work step in the textile industry; see rack (textile industry)
  • the torture with a rack (torture)
  • in gymnastics and Ä., see stretching
  • the plural of route (synonym: route / routes).
