Street Fight (Wrestling)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Street Fight or Streetfight is a variant of the brawl . While the brawl develops out of a match , the street fight arises spontaneously between two wrestlers . It is characteristic of a street fight that the wrestlers wear street clothes and during this type of match they leave the ring and the venue in order to conduct their argument on the street. The use of various objects is permitted, but not mandatory for a street fight. Today the street fight is often mistakenly equated with hardcore wrestling . Street fights are rather to be seen as a forerunner of extreme wrestling , from which hardcore wrestling developed.
