Structure-Behavior-Outcome Paradigm

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The structure-behavior-result-paradigm (also structure-conduct- performance-paradigm ) is a model of industrial economics and offers a causal economic- theoretical explanation for company results through economic action in imperfect markets .

According to the structure-behavior-result paradigm, the framework conditions of the market have a direct, short-term influence on the market structure. This in turn has a direct influence on market behavior, and market behavior in turn influences the market result. Feedback effects occur, so that the market result can also influence the market behavior and the market structure, as well as the market behavior can influence the market structure. In addition, external influences of the order and political interventions have an effect on the framework conditions of the market, market structure, market behavior and market results.
