A chair sled or push sled is a sled that is primarily used on the ice.

It consists of a chair-like or armchair-like seat on thin runners and is preferably used by women or children. The occupant himself has no influence on the movements of the vehicle, but can usually be pushed by a skater .

In the Spreewald you can still drive a push sledge on the frozen river in winter.
