Search and rescue service
As search and rescue service ( English Search and Rescue , abbreviated SAR), different services are called, depending on the task:
- On land: fire brigade and medical services, see emergency services
- In the event of a fire, also the fire brigade
- Police to search for missing persons
- Urban Search and Rescue in the event of building damage and buried people
- An air rescue service from the air
- Mountain rescue in the mountains
