Finnish Historical Society

The Finnish Historical Society ( Finnish Suomen Historiallinen Seura (SHS); Swedish Finska Historiska Samfundet ) is a Finnish scientific society in the field of history, which was founded in 1875.

The SHS publishes scientific literature and organizes lectures, seminars and conferences through the Finnish Literary Society .
