Svetlosar Lissitschkow ( Bulgarian Светлозар Лисичков ), (* 1960 in Russe ) is a Bulgarian sculptor . He lives and works in Sofia. He used to work in various fields of the visual and applied arts. After 1990 he devoted himself to sculpture - small figures made of bronze, stone and wood. His bronze sculptures are figurative, but mostly broken by the lens of surrealism . Mythology is also present in his work from a contemporary point of view. In contrast, the wooden and stone figures are more stylized, similar to the shapes in nature. Svetlosar Lisitschkow had 10 exhibitions of his own in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic (including in Prague in 1996) and he was involved in exhibitions in Paris, Odessa and Denmark.
