The synagogue in Sassiv , a place in Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine , probably dates from the 18th century. It is not known when it was demolished or destroyed; however, there is a picture of the building from 1902.
architecture
The main building of the synagogue consisted of two parts of equal length, namely the main room with walls made of horizontal beams, which were partly covered with shingles, and a two-storey box building, which probably served as an anteroom below, while the room for the women was above.
In addition, there was a single-storey extension with a half-roof on the north side.
