The synagogue in Banja Luka , a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina , was built in 1884. The synagogue was built for the Ashkenazi Jewish community.

Before 1941, the proportion of the Jewish population in Banja Luka was five percent. The vast majority of the Jewish population was murdered during the Holocaust .
