The Hülchrath synagogue is located at Broichstrasse 16, in the historic center of Hülchrath .

The synagogue was built by the Jewish community in 1875 and inaugurated in 1876. It replaced the prayer room from around 1780. The community in Hülchrath was a branch community in the synagogue district of Grevenbroich . During the Nazi era , the building was sold to a butcher's shop.

The city of Grevenbroich acquired the building in 1994. After restoration, it was inaugurated on November 9, 1998 as a memorial and meeting place. The then Prime Minister Johannes Rau gave the keynote address. Painted ceiling and wall friezes have been preserved inside.
