T-Online developed from an internet provider to an online portal over the course of two decades . T-online.de publishes news, opinions and explanatory formats on current world events in the categories of politics, panorama, sport, entertainment, digital, finance, car, health, home and garden, life, games and video via all devices , channels and media.

  • The e-mail service as well as the media and customer center will continue to be operated by Deutsche Telekom. The purchase price was around 300 million euros.   • On March 25, 2019, the website received a new logo. For the first time, it no longer contains the typical Telekom T. All that remains of the magenta color is a small magenta dot, which is supposed to reflect the 24-year history of t-online.de .

criticism

T-Online came in October 2010 with its shopping portal shopping world in the criticism, as it turned out, that user reviews of products not by actual users, but by the agency Textprovider had been written. The agency had delivered 1000 texts between 80 and 180 words that were posted as consumer reviews by customers. Telekom stated that it was not aware of the order and had the reviews in question deleted.
