Trent Jordan Watt (* 11. October 1994 in Pewaukee , Wisconsin ) is an American American football poker players on the position of Outside linebackers . He currently plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL .

college

Watt played for two years for the Wisconsin Badgers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a linebacker . In his first season in college, Watt didn't play a big role for his team and only had 7 tackles in eight games. In his second year, Watt made his breakthrough with the Badgers and was able to book 11.5 sacks and 70 tackles. He also caught an interception , which he carried back into the opposing end zone for a touchdown .

NFL

In the 2017 NFL Draft , TJ Watt was selected 30th in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers . He signed a four-year contract for 9.25 million US dollars for the Steelers. In his rookie season ( 2017 ), Watt was on the field in 15 of 16 games, scoring 7 sacks and 52 tackles. After a decent rookie season, Watt was able to improve significantly again in 2018 , after 13 games he had already scored 10 sacks.
