TC Hanse Wesel
The dance sport club Hanse Wesel eV was a dance sport club in Wesel . The club primarily offered dance sport (couple dancing and formation dancing ), ballroom dancing and discofox . He had several Latin formations and was represented with the A-Team in the 1st Latin Bundesliga and with the B-Team in the 2nd Bundesliga Latin.
In the spring of 2007, the association filed for bankruptcy due to liabilities amounting to just under 8500 euros, but this was rejected by the competent court in November of that year for lack of funds. The club got into trouble after numerous members left the club in 2005 and founded their own dance club with TSG Balance Wesel. In addition, there were high rental costs for the club hall.
After the bankruptcy petition was filed, some of the members left the club and founded the TSC Let's Dance Wesel.
Latin formations
A-team
The A-Team of the TC Hanse Wesel last danced two seasons in the 2nd Bundesliga Latin (seasons 2005/2006 and 2006/2007). Before that, the team was also represented several times in the 1st Bundesliga Latin, for example in the 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 seasons as well as in the 2005/2006 season.
In the 2006/2007 season the team finished last in the 2nd Bundesliga Latin and was relegated to the Regional West Latin league. Due to the financial difficulties of the club, the dance sport was stopped at competition level, the team did not appear in the Regionalliga West in the next season.
B team
The B-Team of TC Hanse Wesel mostly danced in the Oberliga West Latin or the Regionalliga West Latin, but made it through to the 2nd Bundesliga Latin from the 2000/2001 season in the Oberliga West Latin, where the team then went through the 2002 seasons / 2003 and 2003/2004 danced.
More Latin information
In addition to the A and B teams, the club also had a C team that competed in the lower leagues. In the 2004/2005 season there was also a D-Team for the TC Hanse Wesel in the regional league West Latin.
