TV Star ( spelling TVstar ) is a Swiss program guide from Ringier Axel Springer Media.

The magazine was founded as TR7 , an abbreviation for TV & Radio 7 Tage. From 2002 TR7 was revised. Since the name was no longer up-to-date due to the radio program that had not been available for a long time, it was decided to rename TR7 . Since January 19, 2005 the magazine appears as a TV star .

In addition to the weekly television program, TV Star consists of movie reviews, reports from the world of celebrities and television, as well as articles on lifestyle topics. Together with Tele , TV Star awards the Swiss TV Prize . This is awarded in five categories, including the categories “Best National TV Show” and “Best National Film”.

TV Star has a WEMF - certified circulation of 66,040 (previous year 70,490) sold / distributed copies and a reach of 149,000 (previous year 165,000) readers (WEMF MACH Basic 2018-II). This makes it the second largest TV guide in German-speaking Switzerland, behind the Tele magazine, which comes from the same publisher .
