Tagged message delivery agent

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tagged Message Delivery Agent ( TMDA for short ) is an open source application that holds back messages of unknown origin on the server side and thus largely blocks spam . These messages are only delivered to the recipient after the sender has passed through a challenge-response authentication . Future messages from the sender are no longer held back after authentication. TMDA uses a form of greylisting . The software has not been further developed since 2011.
