Tamara is a sweet cherry variety . It was created at the Holovousy research institute in the Czech Republic from the Krupnoplodnaja x Van intersection .

The variety blooms mid-early, as pollinator varieties are u. a. 'Aida', 'Vanda', 'Stark Hardy Giant', 'Christiana', 'Lapins', 'Sweetheart', 'Sumtare', 'Burlat', 'Merchant', 'Samba' and 'Sumste'. The fruits ripen in the 5th cherry week . The fruits are very large, dark to black red and very aromatic with an intense cherry aroma. The flesh is firm and crisp. The yield starts early, is regular and high.
