Tangshuang pu

The Chinese work called Cane Sugar Handbook ( Chinese  糖霜 谱Tangshuang pu ) from the year 1154 of the Song Dynasty is the earliest monograph on cane sugar . It was written by Wang Zhuo (王 灼). It comprises one volume ( juan ) and is divided into seven chapters (pian). In the work, types of cane and cane sugar production are dealt with and its use is discussed. It is an important source for the history of Chinese food and drink culture.
