Tetjana Wassylevytsch ( Ukrainian Тетяна Василевич ; born January 14, 1977 in Evpatorija ) is a Ukrainian chess player . In 1996 she received the title of Grand Master (WGM) from FIDE , and in 2002 the title of International Master (IM). She has had a seat on the Yevpatoria City Council since 2014.

Tetjana Vasylevytsch represented Ukraine several times at the youth world championships and European championships in different age groups. In 1992 she was runner-up at the U16w World Youth Championship in Duisburg behind Almira Scripcenco . In 1996 she shared second place (behind Lyudmila Zaitsev, together with Ekaterina Kowalewska and Lyudmila Rudenko) in St. Petersburg, and in 1997 she won in Belgrade (together with Ana Benderać and Svetlana Prudnikową). She won the bronze medal at the World Championships for juniors under 20 years in Żagań behind Harriet Hunt and Joanna Dworakowska .

She won the Ukrainian women's championship three times in 2002, 2007 and 2010. In 2002 she shared first place with Anna Zatonskih .
She played twice in the women's world championships. She took part in zone tournaments in 1998 and 1999 and qualified for the 2000 World Cup in Delhi . In 2000 she came under the last 16, she won in the first two rounds against Nguyễn Thi Thanh An and Irina Krush , then lost to Kovalevskaya and was eliminated. In 2004 she played for the second time at a world championship (held in Elista) and was able to defeat Xu Yuanyuan in the first round , but lost to Antoaneta Stefanowa in the second round .
She won the Open German Women's Championship in 2000 in Rodewisch . At the Chess Festival Bad Wörishofen 2012 Tetjana Wassylewytsch was the best woman ahead of Tatiana Melamed .

She played 17 years in the women's chess national league from 1999 to 2016 for her club Rodewischer Schachmiezen . The Rodewisch chess chicks were runner-up with her in 2005 and 2006 . In general game operations Wassylewitsch played for ESV Nickelhütte Aue , including in the 2010/11 season in the 1st Bundesliga . In 2010 she took part in the women's European Club Cup with BAS Belgrade , where she came third in the individual ranking on board 4.
National team
She took part in the women's chess Olympiads three times for Ukraine ( 1998 in Elista , 2000 in Istanbul and 2002 in Bled ). At the women's team championship in 2007 in Ekaterinburg , she won a bronze medal both in the Ukraine team and in the individual ranking on board 4, and in 2011 she took third place in the individual ranking of substitutes. She played three times at the European Women's Team Championships (2003, 2005, 2007).
