The Teatro Odeón (Odeon Theater) is a theater in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires . It was built at the end of the 19th century by Don Emilio Bieckert on Calle Esmeralda, near Avenida Corrientes , and opened in 1918. In 1985 the building was listed as a historical monument "for cultural and architectural reasons", but in 1991 it was demolished to make way for a parking lot.
