The Zaporizhia Technical University ( Ukrainian Запорізький національний технічний університет ) is a technical university in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia .
The precursor of the university was opened in 1900, the main building inaugurated in 1924. It has five dormitories in which 2,300 students (some with their families) live.
The university consists of 5 institutes and 11 faculties, at which a total of 10,200 students study and 1,345 lecturers (as of 2020). Of these, 153 hold the title of professor or doctorate.
