Greta Schloch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greta Schloch (* around 1970) is a German music, radio play and comedy artist.

Career

Schloch first became known through various sampler releases of her relationship drama "Alter" ( Alter - Lieber 'ne bottle of beer as a friend than' ne bottle as a friend , Machalla ) and spoken word performances. She performed with the band "Pop30" and solo with guitar and some electro effects as part of her readings (book "Da! Die Vier Jahreszeiten der Greta Schloch" on CD), initially mainly in Germany, then also in Austria .

Greta Schloch's music style mixes rock , pop, electro and trash elements . Complex arrangements alternate with minimalist improvisations. Her texts are bizarre, dadaistic, metaphorical and / or poetic. Greta Schloch usually tells whole stories in various ways and it is not uncommon for her weird, silly outbursts to hide profundity. Greta's radio plays are half improvisations, with the 2nd voice always reacting to the 1st voice. The dialogues that arise are insane or excessive, yet often close to reality.
