Temporal anti-aliasing
Temporal antialiasing or temporal anti-aliasing (TAA) is an algorithm for antialiasing . It uses several individual images to increase the amount of data that a shader uses to calculate the smoothing. This makes the algorithm more efficient and effective. The disadvantage is the motion blur , which is created when several images are offset over time and when different images move. This becomes particularly clear at a low frame rate .
