Terko is the trade name for a proprietary electrical connector system for low-voltage networks .

history

The Terko plug-in system was used for special power networks with direct or alternating voltage . With this plug-in system, the uniqueness of special networks can be ensured. Due to increasing demands on contact protection, the use of the connector system declined sharply from the 1980s.

The connector system is still in production and is available from electrical retailers. There are plugs, couplings, surface-mounted sockets and flush-mounted sockets.

Technical specifications

  • Connector system: 2P + E, reverse polarity protected, connector can only be inserted in one position.
  • Voltage: 250  V
  • Current: 16  A.
  • For special networks according to VDE 0100 G 7.76 § 31a 2.1, can be used to ensure distinctiveness.
