In the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan on July 24, 2017  in Kabul and in the province of Ghor , at least 70 people died and dozens more were injured.

In the Gulai-e Dawachana district of Kabul, near the home of the Deputy Government Secretary Hajji Mohammed Mohakek, a bomb destroyed a bus carrying employees of the mining ministry, killing 35 people and injuring 42. According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, the car bomb was detonated by a suicide bomber. The Taliban confessed to the act.

On the same day, the Taliban broke into a clinic in the central Afghan province of Ghor and killed 35 people there.
