Texier took part in the Olympic Games in 1900 in Paris , where he took in eight contests. As a crew member of the yacht Quand-Même, he failed to cross the finish line in the joint race, but came in second in the first and second races in the boat class 0 to 0.5 tons . In the first race they were by Pierre Gervais ' Baby beaten in the second race which was Fantlet of Émile Sacré faster. The crew of the Quand-Même , whose skipper was also called Texier , also included Robert Linzeler and Jean-Baptiste Charcot . In the boat class 0.5 to 1 tonne , he took eighth place in the first and ninth place in the second race as a crew member of the CVA . With the yacht Mamie he competed in the boat class 1 to 2 tons and finished the two races in seventh and sixth place. In the boat class 3 to 10 tons he was ninth as a crew member of the Singy .
