The Moog Cookbook

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Moog Cookbook is an American electro pop group that mainly produces its songs with synthesizers and consists of its founders Roger Joseph Manning (Jellyfish, Imperial Drag) and Brian Kehew.

The repertoire consists exclusively of almost instrumental cover versions of well-known rock songs arranged with synthetic sound generators. With up to 15 instruments of the early Moog synthesizer generations , the pieces are alienated, musically developed or simply reinterpreted. Only a few short passages are supplemented by heavily distorted vocals.
