Theia Mons

The Theia Mons - Latin for Mount of Theia , after a Titan of Greek mythology - one is shield volcano on Venus .

The volcano mountain is 226 kilometers wide. Its size is about 4.5 kilometers. It is located 22.7 ° North and 281.0 ° East Coordinates: 22 ° 42 ′  N , 79 ° 0 ′  W in the Beta Regio highlands and is located there south of the Rhea Mons . Its solidified lava flows extend for more than 400 kilometers into the area. As with all volcanoes on Venus, eruptions were never observed.
