Thermal containers

A thermal container (also known as an isotainer) is used to store and transport chilled or frozen goods. A thermal container usually has no active cooling. The goods in the thermal container are kept cool either with cooling plates, CO 2 gas or dry ice. Due to the good insulation, transport is possible for up to 24 hours. It is particularly advantageous that a special refrigerated transporter is no longer required, but the container can simply be transported on a truck together with other goods. As usual for food transport, the thermal containers are certified according to ATP and HACCP regulations.

Areas of application for the thermal container are grocery chains, bakeries, butchers and fisheries.
