Tiny Core Linux (TCL) is a minimalist Linux distribution based on BusyBox and FLTK . In contrast to other distributions, TinyCore only needs a 16 MB installation medium. Tiny Core Linux requires at least a processor of the i486 architecture and 46 MB of RAM .

Tiny Core Linux is completely loaded into the main memory and therefore runs very quickly. Due to the small size, hardly any software is supplied, but the user can convert Debian packages into integrable SCE packages.
