Tiridates I.

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The existence of a Parthian king by the name of Tiridates (I.) is controversial. He is mentioned by some classical authors ( Marcus Iunianus Iustinus , Arrian ), but there is a possibility that the acts connected with his person are confused with those of Arsakes I , whose brother he is said to have been according to Arrian.
