Narrow necked titration flask

Titration flasks are laboratory glass vessels that are used for titrations . They are similar to round-bottom flasks with a flat bottom , but have a wide neck, also known as a wide neck, and a flattened bottom, so that they can stand without a rubber ring. The almost round shape ensures good mixing when swiveling, and the narrower neck allows more swiveling than with beakers without liquid escaping.

Similar vessels:

  • Round bottom flask with flat bottom and narrow neck ( English flat bottom flask )
    • with beaded edge, reinforced edge or standard ground
  • Round bottom flask with long neck (longer narrow neck, English florence flask )
    • with flat bottom (long neck flat bottom flask) or round bottom (long neck round bottom flask)
    • with beaded edge, reinforced edge or standard ground
  • Volumetric flask (round bottom flask with flat bottom and very long neck, English volumetric flask )
