Tityros

Tityros (Greek Τίτυρος) was the ancient name of a promontory in the northwest of the island of Crete (today the Rodopou peninsula). The tip of the promontory (today Cape Spada) is the northernmost point of Crete.

A sanctuary to the goddess Diktynna was located on the Tityros peninsula .
