Tom Frager & Gwayav ' is a French band around the singer Tom Frager.

Band history

Tom Frager, who was born in Africa in 1977 but grew up in Guadeloupe , was a successful surfer for a long time, having won the French overseas department's surf championship ten times and starting for the French national team in 1994. In 2002 he founded the band Gwayav ' with four musicians and fellow surfers . Four years later they had finished their debut album Bloom Inside .

Frager and his band and their music, which is influenced by reggae and ska, became known in 2009 with the second album Better Days and in particular with the song Lady Melody . The song became a number one hit and the album made it into the top 5 of the French album charts.
