Tourism Concern is a British, internationally operating non-governmental organization (NGO) based in London , which is committed to responsible tourism . It was founded in 1989.

Tourism Concern's work focuses on working with regional and local communities in tourist destinations to reduce social and environmental problems associated with tourism. An important point in this regard is also the critical examination of the globalization of the tourism industry, which causes First World corporations to reap profits over the heads of the locals and thus little use or even harm the local economy in developing countries . The NGO focuses in particular on tourism emanating from Great Britain .
