Transatlantic Pictures

Transatlantic Pictures was a British-American film production company . It was founded in 1948 by Alfred Hitchcock and Sidney Bernstein .

The plan was to produce films alternately in London and Hollywood . However, there were only two Transatlantic productions, the two films directed by Alfred Hitchcock Cocktail for a corpse (1948) and Slave of the Heart (1949). Due to the commercial failure of these two films, Transatlantic Pictures went bankrupt.
