Drift track
Driving marks are a term from forensic medicine . They occur on corpses that are floating in flowing waters. Since the corpses are usually moved in the prone position, the traces of drift occur mainly on the head (forehead, nose), the back of the hand, knees and toes. These are post-mortem changes in the sense of mechanical traces.
