Fiduciary system

The trusteeship system of the United Nations is of it, under Art. 75 to 91 of its Charter , erected administration system. It is a continuation of the administrative guidelines of the mandate areas .

The charter states that general trust and strategic areas are directly subordinate to the United Nations Security Council . The "internationalization" of the administration, in particular the inspection right of the United Nations, was strengthened.

By 1994, all trust areas were released from international administration.
