Trinità dei Monti is a think tank based in Rome that aims to analyze political, economic and social, national and international issues, to discuss them with the relevant institutions and to propose solutions.
history
The Trinità dei Monti think tank, founded by Pierluigi Testa in February 2012, is an independent think tank with more than 400 members - including 50 founding members - that meets monthly in the heart of Rome at the Spanish Steps (Trinità dei Monti) to discuss the latest topics in to discuss the areas of economy, Italian, European or international politics as well as financial markets or important socio-political issues.
Experts from institutions, banking, journalism, the private sector or teaching are invited to these meetings to make their contributions.
Goals and activity
The main objective is to ensure a constant exchange between the private sector, the public sector and the state representatives in order to give state representatives an insight into the needs of the market and society and to present solution proposals to the decision-makers. In particular, the goals of the think tank are:
- Analyzes and discussions on topics from the areas of economics, law, domestic and international politics, work, as well as banking and finance, in the context of regular meetings. The purpose of this is to get the debates going and to keep attention on issues relating to Italy, the European Union or the other countries.
- To make concrete proposals for economic development and for solving the problems of society to the responsible government bodies and the most important players in industry.
- developing and facilitating relations with abroad in order to strengthen dialogue and synergies with government, industrial and international academic institutions.
- promoting the performance and upgrading of young people through targeted coaching or involvement in institutional activities.
- regular meetings with working women during the so-called “womenomics” lecture series.
