USS Bennington
USS Bennington was the name of two ships in the United States Navy . The name of the ships was chosen after the city of Battle of Bennington .
- The USS Bennington (PG-4) , a Yorktown- class gunboat commissioned in 1891 , which was badly damaged by a boiler explosion in 1905 and sunk in 1924.
- The USS Bennington (CV-20) , an Essex- class aircraft carrier that entered service in 1944 and was scrapped in 1994-95.
