Ulrich Schulte-Strathaus

Ulrich Schulte-Strathaus (* 1953 ) was Secretary General of the Association of European Airlines from 2002 to 2012 .

Before that, he had been Head of Group Policy at Lufthansa since 1992 . In this role he was responsible for securing the Group's traffic rights, for the political safeguarding of the Lufthansa alliances as well as for association and EU politics. After studying law at Lufthansa, he began his professional career in the HR department in 1981.

Schulte-Strathaus has been working as a consultant since his regular departure from the Association of European Airlines.
