Umm al-Binni ( Arabic أم البني, DMG Umm al-Binnī ) is the name of a lake in the Maisan Governorate in southern Iraq . It has partly dried up. The circular structure with a diameter of 3.4 km is interpreted by some scientists as an impact crater of a meteorite from the Holocene .
