Unbundling

Unbundling means:

  • the creation of independence between different business areas of a company based on corresponding statutory and / or regulatory requirements, see unbundling (company)
  • In the regulation of telecommunications, the requirement for network operators with considerable market power to offer certain wholesale services for competitors decoupled (i.e. separate, unbundled) from the offer of their own connection services, see unbundling .
