Adverse drug event
An adverse drug event (UAE) is an adverse event that occurs in a temporal context with the administration of a drug . These can be changes in laboratory values , but also the emergence of symptoms or even illnesses. The occurrence of an adverse drug event need not be causally related to the drug administration. However, if there is such a connection, one speaks of an adverse drug reaction (ADR) .
