United Cheer Berlin , UCB for short , is a Berlin cheerleading division .

construction

With more than 160 active cheerleaders, the currently eight teams (2014) form one of the largest cheerleading departments in Berlin. Years of development and youth work bring the association steady growth and Germany-wide success. The eight teams are called "Little Legends, Mini Legends, Ministar Legends, Tiny Legends, Teenstar Legends, Youngstar Legends, Legends and the hiphop dance team UCBeats. In different age groups from 5-11 years, 11-16 years and 16-open , the championship teams Tiny Legends, Youngstar Legends, Legends and UCBeats regularly compete in national and international championships.

history

Until the end of 2009, all teams belonged to the Spandau Bulldogs under different names (Snoopies, Poppies, Welps) but in the same team line-up. At the end of 2009 they moved to SC Staaken as a whole with over 100 members. At the same time they also changed their team colors from "red-black-white to" white-turquoise-black ". The teams have been part of the Staaken 1919 sports club since 2010. Their motto is: UCB the hottest of the hot, what you want is what we´ ve got . In addition, they changed the cheerleading association in 2012 and are now a member of the CCVD.
