United Renaissance Party

The United Renaissance Party ( URP ) is a political party in Ghana . She was approved by the Electoral Commission in 2006.

Charles Kofi Wayo is the founder and chairman of the URP. He is a former friend of President John Agyekum Kufuor . Wayo was a member of the New Patriotic Party in the 2000 elections and won a seat in parliament. Wayo wants to run with the URP in the parliamentary elections in 2008.

The motto of the party is "Mercy for the poor", the party colors are orange, green, yellow and pink.
