University of Alabama Arboretum

The University of Alabama Arboretum is a 24.3-acre arboretum in Tuscaloosa , Alabama, United States .

The focus is on the flora and fauna found in Alabama.

In the garden, a total of four kilometers of footpaths lead between pine trees and an oak- hickory forest to a wildflower garden that contains more than 250 species and ornamental plantings, an experimental garden, a moor area , an open-air pavilion and a garden for children. Two greenhouses are equipped with orchids , cacti and other tropical plants.
